Spending on education a “real chore” according to Rhoades; kindergarten funding not likely

“Rep. Marc Rhoades, a Newton Republican and chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, said Republicans are trying to limit the amount of new money that goes into complying with the court order.
Rhoades said it would be a ‘real chore’┬áto get a majority of Republicans to agree to spend tens of millions of dollars more in new money on schools.”

So we are to understand that it is completely unreasonable to restore equity to poor districts and fund all-day kindergarten, which a majority of Kansas parents value? That’s part of why we’re walking to Topeka.
