Have you thanked a teacher today? This morning MainStream met with Kim Palcic, a 3rd grade teacher and parent of two public school children in Olathe. Her frustrations about the attacks on public education and the attempts to strip away autonomy from our local cities and communities led to her decision to run for office.

Thank you to all teachers but especially to teachers like Kim Palcic who are putting themsevles on the front line to defend our schools.
