Governor’s proposal appears to restore constitutional level of funding says KASB

“Final points: these are total amounts, not per pupil amounts. Since 2009, statewide headcount enrollment has increased by nearly 19,000 students (4.0 percent). Students eligible for free meals, who are much more likely to have additional learning challenges requiring more resources, increased by over 30,000.
