Have spent the day with Kansas Teacher of the Year award winners along with Rep.’s Rooker, Clayton, and Perry touring some of the amazing and innovative programs in the SM School District. My comment at the end of the day was, “Why do we need legislation for innovative schools in Kansas when we have them already?” I was deeply impressed with the opportunities our students have from kindergarten through senior year in high school. Let’s don’t mess up this great educational system, legislators!
