Game On’s Judith Deedy is an honorary chair for the Women for Kansas event Labor Day weekend: “I appreciate the efforts of Women for Kansas in increasing political awareness and participation among women in Kansas. I understand that we are busy with careers and families and many of us frankly find politics distasteful. The reality is, though, that public education and many of the other issues that impact our lives are determined by the political process. We have an obligation to ourselves, our families and our communities to make our voices heard, and I am grateful to the efforts of Women for Kansas in helping to make that happen.”
