“Thank goodness we have three co-equal branches of government. It appears it will be up to the judiciary to help rein in executive and legislative branches not acting on behalf of the people they are supposed to be serving.
“The 64 House members doing Brownback’s bidding on Friday have had their moment in the sun. So will the Senate when it passes this horrific piece of legislation next week and sends it to the governor for his signature.
“Then it will be the court’s turn to halt the lawless lawmakers in their tracks…The Kansas Constitution requires lawmakers to adequately fund K-12 public education. An accounting is in order.
“We look forward with relish to the rule of law being restored.”
