JOCO residents should contact legislators about moving elections

Sharing from our friend Amy Martin in Olathe.
Olathe friends: At the Olathe Chamber of Commerce Legislative breakfast, when asked her thoughts on moving spring elections to the fall, Senator Julia Lynn stated that she is not hearing anything from her district. (I suppose the resolution the Olathe School Board passed and the personal contact from one of our board members don’t count.) Senator Denning supports moving elections, Representative Rooker is opposed, and Representative Macheers didn’t offer an opinion.
I will make it easy for you. Below is the contact information for the legislators at the breakfast and a salutation to cut and paste into your email. Add your own respectful message asking them to support local control and keep the state out of our local elections. Include your name and address so they will know you are from Olathe. This train is coming and you guys are the only ones who can stop it.
Dear Senator Lynn, Senator Denning, Representative Rooker and Representative Macheers,
