Shawnee Mission School District’s motion to intervene as a party in the Gannon case has been denied by the Kansas Supreme Court. The Court found that the district’s interests are not adequately represented by the parties, but also found that the motion was untimely. Oral arguments by the parties on the equity portion of the case will be heard at the Supreme Court on November 6. The adequacy portion of the case will be addressed in the spring.
