This year, we will have three walks to Topeka, one from Merriam/Kansas City, one from Manhattan, and one from Emporia. This post covers the Kansas City area walk. (See http://gameonforkansasschools.com/2016/02/game-on-2016-walk-to-include-manhattan-route/ for information on the Manhattan route and http://gameonforkansasschools.com/2016/02/game-on-2016-walk-to-include-emporia-route/ for information on the Emporia route.
If you would like to join us for any or all of the walk, or if you can’t walk but can otherwise volunteer (drivers are also needed), please sign up using this Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Oqv0H3iU1sqF44QHGr950llK7vnz4kyOWTFqrQ92XZg/viewform?c=0&w=1.
We will coordinate transportation and meals so it is really necessary that we know how many are participating in the walk portions.
We will walk March 11th-March 13th, and we will be joined by others for our final leg into the Capitol on Monday, March 14th. The more the merrier!
