Here are the votes on HB 2578 amending the school sports head injury prevention act, allowing any “licensee of the healing arts” to clear student athletes after they’ve suffered a head injury. Currently only MDs and DOs can clear students but this bill would allow chiropractors to clear them as well. This bill also has nothing to do with figuring out school finance, which is where we think our legislature should be putting their focus.
