We need the budget to stabilize before we can talk about a tax cut that would cost $400 million in state revenue in just 3 years. We’ve seen legislators who voted for SB 22 say we can’t afford the $90 million inflation adjustment for schools. If they thought we could afford SB 22, they can now vote for the inflation adjustment.
