Game On was happy to be one of several of public education advocacy organizations who gathered in Topeka to urge the 2019 Kansas legislature to finish the work needed to bring the state’s K-12 funding formula in line with the supreme court’s latest ruling on adequacy and equity.

KASB live streamed our press conference in the Capitol today. Parent advocates requested that the legislature add inflation to the school funding formula to end the Gannon case, retain the current formula rather than writing a new one and maintain Article 6 of the Kansas Constitution.
