Kansas’ vision for education is to lead the world in the success of each student. Our students deserve an education that will prepare them for postsecondary success. This includes everything from students being prepared academically and socially to being civically engaged in the world around them.

Kansas has adopted some of the most rigorous standards in the nation. Our teachers chose to raise the bar on assessment cut scores to ensure student learning is at the level required to execute any postsecondary plan. Teachers believe in their students’ abilities to meet these higher standards.
