We’ve posted this a few times, but it’s important for Kansans to remember this is part of the playbook we’re working against.

Quote of the day from the 1980 Libertarian presidential platform in 1980 when David Koch was the Vice Presidential candidate:

“We advocate the complete separation of education and State. Government schools lead to the indoctrination of children and interfere with the free choice of individuals. Government ownership, operation, regulation, and subsidy of schools and colleges should be ended.”

Kansans should remember that the Koch brothers and their funded entities including Americans for Prosperity and the Kansas Policy Institute have a great deal of influence over many of our Kansas legislators.

Throwback Thursday Libertarian platform opposing public schools
