The Senate has passed a new version of the tax bill they passed earlier this session. It’s less expensive, but still threatens our ability to pay for schools and other essential services. Kansas is just now stabilizing. Now is not the time to jeopardize the progress we are making. Contact your representative in the House and urge them to vote NO.
According to our Friends at the Kansas Center for Economic Growth: “The tax bill coming up tonight costs the state a quarter-billion over three years. In the first year alone, 84 percent of the benefits go to multinational corporations. This is risky policy that threatens the future of Kansas, and legislators should reject it.”
