Some Iowans have found a clever way to illustrate the fact that Iowa voucher bills don’t include academic standards for schools getting voucher funds.
The Kansas tax credit scholarships and the bills to expand them lack standards and accountability provisions and HB 2119 to be heard next week in the House K-12 Education Budget Committee doesn’t require any accreditation at all. If these bills are really about helping students why don’t they put any requirements on the schools receiving the funds?
