This is where Kansas legislative leadership is trying to go. They’re trying to create a private school subsidy for anyone who wants it including people who can already afford private school tuition. Tax credit “scholarships” are wealth distribution from rural to urban/suburban and an entitlement program for able bodied people.
“Indiana’s private school voucher program saw the largest amount of participation during the 2022-23 school year since the program’s creation, and most of the scholarships are going toward white wealthy families.”
