Divisive Rhetoric from Project 1776 to Take Over School Board

They’re baaack! For a third election cycle, we are sharing the salty tweets below because Ryan Girdusky is the New Yorker who leads the 1776 Project PAC which then sought and again seeks to take over school boards using divisive rhetoric and misinformation. Kansas voters soundly rejected their candidates in local school board elections and should do so again now that they’re moving to try to take over our State Board of Education. In the primary election, Jean Clifford in District 5 and Destry Brown in District 9 are running as local public education supporters rather than being bolstered by an out-of-state PAC. In the general election, Jennifer Lloyd in District 1, Amy Diediker in District 3, Lorie Wood in District 5, Ann Zimmerman in District 7 and Heather Guernsey in District 9 are also the non-1776 Project PAC candidates. Don’t let this harmful national PAC buy our Kansas State Board of Education
