Hey Game On team members in State Board of Education Districts 5 and 9 (which cover most of western, central and southeastern Kansas), there is a coordinated effort to take over our SBOE, and there are very important primaries in your districts! Jean Clifford is a long-time supporter of Kansas public schools and was a responsible member of the SBOE during her previous term. Destry Brown was an educator in five different school districts in Kansas before retiring. Their opponents are supported by the 1776 Project PAC (an out-of-state PAC that has already made multiple attempts to take over local school boards in Kansas and other states) and Moms for [some people’s] Liberty. Kansas voters have soundly rejected candidates supported by these organizations and should do so again. Please be an informed voter on or before August 4th and make sure your friends and family are too!
