Hundreds march to Capitol to advocate for funding and policy

“Hundreds of public education teachers and parents marched Monday from Topeka High School to the Capitol to denounce legislative obstructions to adequate financing of K-12 school districts and policy jeopardizing instruction of children statewide. “Some participants walked 60 miles to Topeka along routes stretching from Manhattan, Emporia and Merriam. Librarians share exhaustion of supporting a cause

“And then, I realized, that exhaustion is what the Kansas education community has felt like for years.
