Register to vote by Tuesday, July 15
Tuesday is another deadline-are you registered to vote? From the Kansas Association of School Boards: The Kansas August 5 primary will be here before we know it! The last day to register to vote in the primary election is Tuesday, July 15. If you are interested in voting in advance, you may do so in person, either the Tuesday before Election Day or up to 20-days beforehand, depending on the county. You can also vote via mail ballot starting on July 16. The final day for mail ballot applications is Friday, August 1. NC reverend warns of problems with vouchers
Kansas now has a form of vouchers in the ALEC tax credit “scholarships” contained in the school finance bill passed in the final hours of the 2014 legislative session. NC has gone further along the ALEC plan.
