Governor starts dialog with short guest list

Education advocates Rep. Rooker and Rep. Dierks targeted for recall by Kansans for Liberty/TEA party leadership

So this is what being an effective public education advocate gets you? Last weekend at a Kansans for Liberty/TEA party leadership meeting there was an attempt to recall Rep. Melissa Rooker of Fairway in the Shawnee Mission School District and Rep. Diana Dierks of Salina, both moderate Republicans who believe they were targeted because of their efforts to protect public education. Rep. Rooker was lauded by many for her knowledge of education issues and tenacity during the 2013 legislative session.
