Kansas Board of Education meets with legislators

KS Bd of Ed met with legislators yesterday. Sen. Melcher complained of “generous” funding and stagnant test scores without acknowledging large increases in students in poverty and ELLs. Other legislators said consolidation would save money but no one will propose it because doing so would be political suicide. Why would the KS GOP choose to mislead people about Game On? Is it important for them to draw attention away from Game On’s public education advocacy efforts?
