Kansas 4th worst in the country in depth of cuts to school funding since start of the recession

Way to go MO! Common sense prevailed, and the MO legislature didn’t override Gov. Nixon’s veto of their too-agressive tax cut bill. Kudos to the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City for speaking out for Missouri students. “Missouri has already drastically cut state services, increasing class sizes, raising college tuition and deferring maintenance of Missouri’s roads and bridges.
