It will be back next year. This is a long piece but it connects the dots between ALEC, big money and public education “reform” in a specific example. Parents in Florida are facing a similar battle with a parent trigger bill in the legislature despite being opposed by the state PTA and parent advocacy groups. The supporters are out-of-state interests standing behind a fake “grassroots” effort. Have spent the day with Kansas Teacher of the Year award winners along with Rep.’s Rooker, Clayton, and Perry touring some of the amazing and innovative programs in the SM School District.
