So even though the constitution says the legislature has to make suitable provision for financing public education, that is apparently meaningless and is whatever the legislature says it should be. Did you contact committee members Monday? Kansas municipalities and KASB managed to get to Topeka to oppose the ban on lobbying for public entities. Note the hearing was added to the schedule after 5:00 pm Friday and scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Monday.
