Some ask why we oppose expansions of Kansas tax credit scholarships and other voucher/neo-voucher bills. Among the reasons is that we have been watching other states for over a decade and once these programs start they get expanded again and again, taking money from public schools despite the data showing that they generally don’t lead to improved outcomes for the students in the programs and often lead to academic losses. Here’s yet another example.
