We’ve been threatened. And it’s sad that it came to that,’ Stout told The Star. Two board members were so frustrated amid mask protests in late August that they walked out of a meeting and soon resigned. Disputes over COVID-19 protocols, school curriculum, and other national hot-button issues dominated the contentious school board elections in Johnson County this past fall.”
