“There is a lot to be proud of in Coffeyville and many other districts in Kansas. Be wary of those mischaracterizing test scores, failing to recognize multiple ways our students are achieving at higher levels, refusing to acknowledge the many challenges our students and our schools have been facing. We have seen legislators, paid lobbyists and school board candidates attacking administrators, teachers and current board members. Ask yourself why these people are casting student achievement in a falsely negative light.”
