Moms for Liberty is dropping off pocket constitutions for distribution to Kansas students, but they aren’t just any constitutions. They are branded by the 917 Society and contain a link to that organization which has a very specific agenda that is not consistent with public education. While we haven’t accessed this year’s version, last year’s also had a QR code that went directly to a page for donating to the 917 Society, and the sample online has a spot for it on the back cover. Distribution of these branded materials is inappropriate and we hope districts avoid promoting a particular organization to its students. We know they have been dropped off at various district offices in JOCO but we don’t know if there are other districts as well.
