We hope voters in House District 70 and frankly a lot of other districts are following Kylie Kilmer for House District 70 to see not only what she says about herself but for the information she shares about the incumbent. We have too many sitting legislators, even those who sit on K12 committees who are misinformed and hold negative opinions about education policy, our schools and students

From Kylie Kilmer for House District 70 facebook page

“If you defend this kind of rhetoric, then that says more about you than it does about me.

Children with IEPs are not “problem kids,” and district 70 deserves a representative who values the education of ALL children.

This man shouldn’t hold office, and, at minimum, needs removed from his 2 education committees for posting this kind of nonsense as an elected official.

Thank goodness for federal IDEA laws that protect education for our most vulnerable students.”
